Halloween or All Hallow's Eve. Just the name conjures up all kinds of creepy, spooky, spine tingling thoughts for this extra night. When the dead awake and roam the earth whatever can happen. The decorations are becoming more sophisticated than ever. From the days of jack-o-lanterns and spooky ghost costumes made from cutting holes in your mother's white sheet, this day is becoming more developed when it comes to costumes and decorations guaranteed to entice goose bumps.
Setting Up the entry to Your House of Horror
Halloween
Starting at the entry of your home you can set the stage for the terror that lies within. Turn your front yard into a graveyard with tombstones that glow and a mist development motor will add to the eerie effect. A merge of ghosts seemingly floating over the tombstones will add to the effect. One of the big skeletons in cages hanging from the front porch screaming to be let out will be sure to make one wonder if they should proceed.
The First Room of Terror
When you enter through the door that seems to open by itself the first thing you see is the life-size ghostly white butler waiting to serve you. What he might have to serve you is a surprise. Before you have taken very many steps into the room, a lifelike rat runs across the floor in front of you (they are remote controlled and indeed look like a rat). Thunder is booming and lightning is flashing. Eerie organ music is playing. Suddenly from high in the angle a corpse swoops down in front of you and back up to the ceiling. You hear voices begging for help from the next room.
The Second Room of Terror
When you finally make it to the next room, without running out the front door, you creep through the doorway expectantly. All is dark and in the angle you see a strange light that seems to hang from the air. Suddenly you hear shrill screaming and when you turn towards the sound the light flashes and right beside you is a skeleton with bulging eyes.
As you turn to go the other way, the lightning flashes again and on the floor you see a decapitated foot walking across the floor towards you. Trailing behind the foot is blood. Which way to go now? forward seems the best option at present. With rats crawling all across the floor, you try to maneuver over and around them when the music intensifies and bats start flying around your head. You make it to the door and turn the handle. It opens slowly and in the doorway all kinds of skeletons start to fall on you, some with the skin still attached.
Beating a track to the front door you are out of there in double time. Only the door doesn't open until.....a few seconds to let the terror sink in and just before you give in to the panic charge and tear it down, it opens and you make a beeline through the graveyard to the street.
